The Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan has announced the new values of foreign currencies against the soum, effective from April 28, 2026. According to it, an upward trend was observed in all major currency units.

The official exchange rate of the US dollar rose by 52.48 soum to 12,072.96 soum. The euro rate also rose significantly, increasing by 128.95 soum to 14,177.28 soum.

The Russian ruble became 2.4 soum more expensive and was set at 161.17 soum. The British pound sterling recorded one of the highest increases, rising by 152.86 soum to 16,360.07 soum.

In addition, the Japanese yen was recorded at 75.82 soum, the Swiss franc at 15,393.29 soum and the Chinese yuan at 1,769.37 soum. All of these currencies showed positive dynamics compared with the previous day's figures.
