It was reported that over 4.3 thousand road accidents occurred on the roads of the capital during the first eight months of this year. Open information about this was provided through the Open Data Tashkent portal.
Sources note that the Yunusabad district leads in the number of incidents. A total of 561 cases were registered in this region. At the same time, Chilanzar district took second place with 555 road accidents, and Yashnabad district took third place with 554 road accidents.
The situation in other districts is also quite serious. For example, 475 cases were registered in the Mirzo-Ulugbek district, 363 in Shaykhantakhur, 337 in Almazar, and 316 in Uchtepa. Additionally, 288 road accidents occurred in Sirgali district, 269 in Mirobod, 217 in Bektemir, 210 in Yakkasaray, and 205 in Yangihayot district.
These figures once again demonstrate the urgency of ensuring road safety and strengthening order in the city. Officials emphasized that caution and strict adherence to traffic rules are vital for all road users.
