Traffic police officer accused in Chinoz car accident

In Chinoz district, a Gentra driver died in a traffic accident. According to reports, a Cobalt car violated overtaking rules, drove into the opposite lane, and collided with the Gentra.

Social media reports, confirmed by Kun.uz, state that the Cobalt was allegedly driven by a road patrol service officer, who was driving at high speed without license plates.

The incident occurred on August 12, 2025, around 05:30 on the M-39 highway passing through Chinoz district. The Gentra, driven by 1987-born Fayzulla Ubaydullaev, collided with the Cobalt that came into the opposite direction. The injured driver later died in the hospital.

In the vehicle were also his wife and three children, who were on their way to Samarkand for a trip. As a result of the accident, his two daughters and wife sustained injuries.

Relatives of the deceased claim that the Cobalt was driven by traffic police officer Davron Yuldoshev. According to them, he removed the car’s license plates, drove at high speed, made an improper overtake, lost control, and entered the oncoming lane. They also allege that after the accident, Yuldoshev got into a Damas without plates and left the scene without providing assistance.

Currently, a criminal case has been opened regarding this incident, and an investigation is underway.
