In Tashkent, a woman whose 11-year-old daughter died from electric shock stabbed her husband to death. This was reported by the press service of the Prosecutor General’s Office.
The exact date of the incident was not disclosed. According to reports, the woman was detained and a criminal case was opened against her under Article 97, Part 1 of the Criminal Code (Intentional murder). If found guilty, she faces up to 15 years in prison. Investigative actions are currently ongoing.
It should be recalled that on May 30, in the Kiyot neighborhood of Tashkent’s Mirabad district, the woman’s 11-year-old daughter died as a result of electric shock. The child climbed a ladder left unattended by workers to help other children retrieve a toy when the tragedy occurred. The moment was recorded by surveillance cameras.
A month after the tragedy, the mother said that no culprits had been identified, and the dangerous area had remained the same. According to her, wires were still hanging near the children’s playground, and the family had not received any information about the investigation.
