
The owner of a cafe located in the Olmazor district of Tashkent city violated Uzbekistan's legislation. This was reported by a UPL correspondent.
According to the information, the cafe owner did not allow the father of a child into the children's playground. The cafe owner stated that only mothers and children are allowed to enter the playground.
Dissatisfied customers contacted law enforcement agencies. The court found the cafe owner guilty of promoting gender discrimination.
The man fully admitted his guilt, promised to rectify the situation, and asked the court for leniency in sentencing. Based on the court's decision, the cafe owner was fined 3,750,000 soums.
