According to the press service of the Jizzakh region Compulsory Enforcement Bureau, a man who had been refusing to pay child support for his children has been located. It was revealed that this individual had accumulated child support arrears exceeding 40 million soums.
The man, who was on the wanted list by the Compulsory Enforcement Bureau's Jizzakh city department, was apprehended early in the morning while consuming alcohol in the central market area. Notably, the intoxicated man attempted to justify himself, stating, “I would pay the 40 million now, but I don’t have the money with me.”
During investigations, it was found that this individual’s addiction to alcohol had led to the breakdown of his family, and after his divorce, he neglected his children. Currently, enforcement actions are ongoing.
If the man fails to pay his debt for the first time, administrative sanctions will be applied against him. If he continues to evade child support payments, a criminal case may be initiated against him in the future.
