In Andijan, women were detained for hiding 225 grams of jewelry

Three women were detained in Andijan for attempting to smuggle jewelry worth 200 million soums into their internal organs. This was reported by the press service of the regional customs administration.

According to the information, along with the launch of international flights at Andijan airport, violations of the law are being prevented in the process of customs control. In particular, a group that aroused suspicion among customs officers was identified among passengers arriving on the Istanbul-Andijan route.

During a personal search conducted in the prescribed manner, it was established that three women attempted to smuggle ready-made jewelry with a total weight of 225.3 grams into their internal organs.

Currently, procedural documents have been formalized on this fact. According to preliminary estimates, the value of the seized jewelry is 200 million soums, and they have been temporarily stored.
