
On December 9, the State Ecological Control Inspectorate (Eco-Police) conducted regular inspection raids in cooperation with the Prosecutor General’s Office, the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the National Guard, and law enforcement agencies in the Tashkent region and Tashkent city.
During the raids, compliance with air protection regulations was inspected at 3,222 sites. As a result of these inspections, 24 violations were identified.
Comprehensive investigations carried out from November 25 to December 9 revealed a total of 895 violations, for which administrative case files were formalized. Additionally, operations at 75 facilities violating environmental laws (66 in the Tashkent region and 9 in Tashkent city) were suspended for 10 working days.
During these inspections, filters were installed at 37 greenhouse facilities, 6 greenhouses were connected to the gas network, and 7 other facilities submitted applications to obtain technical specifications for gas connection.
The Eco-Police and relevant agencies continue to conduct raids to protect atmospheric air, reduce sources of pollution, and ensure compliance with environmental regulations.
