
The press service of the National Statistics Committee published data on the age breakdown of parents who had children in the first 9 months of 2025. This was reported by upl.uzreports.
It is noted that from January to September, 664.6 thousand live births were registered in Uzbekistan. Most often, both women and men became parents between the ages of 25 and 39.
By fathers’ age: under 25 — 74,946 people (11.3%), 25–39 — 542,512 people (81.6%), 40 and older — 47,140 people (7.1%).
By mothers’ age: under 25 — 269,823 people (40.6%), 25–39 — 385,424 people (58%), 40 and older — 9,351 people (1.4%).
The figures show that among those under 25, women become mothers far more often than men become fathers — the rate is more than three times higher than for men. Conversely, after 40, the share of men becoming fathers is almost five times higher.
