Inspector arrested for attempting to cover up a criminal case
An inspector in Chirchik, Tashkent region, was arrested for attempting to conceal a criminal case. According to the State Security Service, the inspector accepted a bribe of $2,700 to suppress an investigation into injuries inflicted on a 1994-born individual. He reportedly gave $1,000 of the bribe to the victim and attempted to pay an additional $300 to further hide the case. Law enforcement apprehended him during an operation, and a criminal case has been initiated against him, with investigations into other involved officials potentially underway.

According to information, the inspector accepted a bribe to suppress a criminal case involving bodily harm caused to a person born in 1994 by a group led by citizen I. Saidov.
Investigation materials noted that in exchange for an agreement, he demanded $2,700 USD and gave $1,000 of the received funds to the victim. He later attempted to give the victim another $300 to conceal the proceedings.
During an operational measure conducted at that time, law enforcement officers detained the inspector with physical evidence.
A criminal case has been initiated against him and the investigation is ongoing. It is also stated that other employees involved in these illegal actions may also be brought in for questioning.
