Water levels rise in Angren: woman trapped in the middle of the river

Today, May 23, a dangerous situation occurred on the Angren River, which flows through the Piskent District of Tashkent Region. A woman became trapped on a small patch of land in the middle of the river and was in need of rescue.
According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, an urgent report regarding the incident was received by the Almalyk City Emergency Department around 10:20 AM. The report stated that a citizen was stranded in the middle of the river and required assistance to ensure her safety.
It was determined that the water level in the river had risen unexpectedly and sharply, causing the current to intensify. As a result, the woman was unable to reach the shore on her own and remained in a dangerous situation.
Rescue teams arrived at the scene promptly and carried out rescue operations using special equipment. They carefully brought the woman from the middle of the river to a safe area.
It is reported that the woman was not injured in the incident. Experts once again remind the public of the importance of being cautious near rivers and paying attention to changes in water levels in such situations.
