Manchester City head coach Pep Guardiola shared his thoughts ahead of the FA Cup Round of 16 match against Plymouth. The manager highlighted that such games can be dangerous.
"In the Championship, set pieces are their main weapon. Even the Premier League could learn from them in this aspect. They defend very aggressively upfront. In the Championship, League One, and League Two, set pieces play a crucial role. Plymouth has been showing good results under their new coach. In the last 10-11 matches, they have only lost three times," said Guardiola.
The Man City boss also pointed out that Plymouth had previously knocked Liverpool out of the competition.
"That's why I expect a very tough match. Playing at home gives us a slight advantage, but we know these games can be tricky. These teams are very strong in their own style. If they showcase their strengths and outperform us in that regard, we will face difficulties," added the Spanish specialist.
The match will kick off today, March 1, at 22:45. Follow “Zamin” news on “Telegram”
