Muhammadali Urinboev: “It’s time to return to Europe — I’m preparing good news for the fans.”

In the Matchday 9 fixture of the Uzbekistan Super League, "Pakhtakor" secured a dominant 6–0 victory over "Bukhara". After the match, the "Lions" midfielder Muhammadali Urinboev shared his thoughts about the game and his personal future.

“The first minutes of the match were quite difficult for us. It wasn’t easy to quickly adapt to the game. You saw the incident yourself — our opponent ‘Bukhara’ scored the first goal, but the referees canceled it after a video review. After that, we needed some time to recover mentally. Once we scored our first goal, our team started to feel more confident and switched fully to attacking football, which eventually led to a big victory,” said Urinboev.

The 20-year-old midfielder expressed satisfaction with his goals and overall performance during the match:

“Of course, I’m happy that I scored and made our fans proud. It was very important for me to show the level of performance that is expected from me on the field. However, I wouldn’t say this was due to the new head coach’s influence. Every player who steps onto the pitch has a responsibility to demonstrate their talent and contribute to the team’s success. I sincerely congratulate our fans on the win — their support is always important to us,” he added.

Urinboev also commented on the upcoming match against "Nasaf":

“Football is not a sport where the same result happens every time. In every match, new challenges and difficulties can arise. Right now, our preparation is at a high level. Ahead of us is a serious match against ‘Nasaf’, and we will take to the pitch aiming for nothing less than victory.”

Muhammadali Urinboev further revealed that he is considering returning to European football in the near future and hinted at good news for his fans:

“Can I return to Europe? God willing, if I continue to work hard and produce similar results, there may be good news soon. My main goal now is to once again try myself in European clubs,” the player shared enthusiastically.
