The Ukrainian Judo Federation has announced its withdrawal from the World Championship set to take place in June in Budapest.
The reason cited was the permission granted to Belarusian athletes to compete under their national flag.
Earlier, the Belarusian Olympic Committee had stated that starting June 1, Belarusian judokas would be allowed to participate in tournaments under their country's flag.

In response, the International Judo Federation emphasized that sport should serve as a platform for dialogue, unity, and mutual understanding—not for building walls. Read 'Zamin' on Telegram!
