Brazilian star winger Rodrygo has clarified where he will spend the next season. According to the publication Football Insider, although Arsenal held talks with the player, the 24-year-old has decided to remain at Real Madrid.
His decision is linked to his willingness to accept internal competition and continue fighting for a place in the starting lineup. Despite playing in 51 matches across all competitions last season, scoring 14 goals and providing 10 assists, Rodrygo was not fully satisfied with his playing time.
At the same time, the Brazilian hopes that the arrival of new head coach Xabi Alonso will give him more opportunities. He believes that the coaching change can positively impact his situation.
Currently, Rodrygo's contract with Real Madrid runs until the summer of 2028. His market value is estimated at around €90 million, highlighting his strong standing in the European football market.
Thus, Arsenal has missed the opportunity to sign Rodrygo. However, this decision may indicate that the player will solidify his role at Real and continue to delight fans with goals and assists.
