A professional boxing night organized by PBC took place at the MGM Arena in Las Vegas.
The main event was a welterweight title clash between American WBC champion Mario Barrios and legendary 46-year-old Filipino boxer and former world champion in multiple weight classes, Manny Pacquiao.
The 12-round championship bout went the full distance. The judges declared the fight a draw: one gave Barrios a narrow 115–113 win, while the other two scored it 114–114.
As a result, Barrios retains his title.
This was Pacquiao’s 73rd professional bout and the third draw in his career. His record now stands at 62 wins, 8 losses, and 3 draws.
Mario Barrios' record is now 29 wins, 2 losses, and 2 draws.
Interestingly, Uzbekistan’s Shakhram Giyasov is currently the mandatory challenger for the WBA belt in this weight class. Read 'Zamin' on Telegram!
