Our talented footballer Muhammadali O'rinboyev, who plays for the renowned Belgian club Antwerp, came on as a substitute in yesterday's match against Westerlo. However, after the match, it turned out that his previous injury bothered him again.
Based on the advice of the team's medical staff and physical training specialists, a decision was made to continue O'rinboyev's recovery process at the club. Therefore, he will not be able to join the national team.
To fill O'rinboyev's vacancy, Muhammedali Reimov, a member of the "Olimpik Mobiuz" club, was called up to the national team training camp. This exchange was announced to the fans by the coaching staff.
As a reminder, the Uzbekistan U-23 national team under Ravshan Haydarov will play in the Asian Cup qualifying matches from September 3-9. Our youth will compete against the youth national teams of Sri Lanka, the Kyrgyz Republic, and Palestine.
These qualifying matches are an important test for our young national team and will allow our guys to once again demonstrate their capabilities. The fans are hoping for O'rinboyev's full recovery and return to the field as soon as possible.
