Manchester City's main striker, Erling Haaland, has commented on the significant changes that have taken place in the team over the past two transfer windows.
As is known, the Manchester club spent nearly €200 million last summer, attracting new players, and earned approximately €70 million from signing transfers. For this year's winter transfer window, over €200 million has been allocated for renowned players such as Abduqodir Husanov, Umar Marmush, Nico Gonzalez, and Vitor Reis.
According to the Norwegian goalscorer, since many key players have left the team, newcomers now need to speak up. "We, who have been playing for the team for a long time, must take responsibility. At the same time, it is of great importance that we help new performers adapt to the team faster," Haaland said.
He also noted that some players need time to adapt to the new environment. "We must help each other. Now "City" is not like before, there have been serious changes in the team. But this can be changed for the better, because we have developed completely different qualities," said Erling Haaland.
Thus, the forward expressed his confidence that the changes at the club would take him to a new level.
