According to Romaforever.it, after his trips to Genoa, Roma, Spezia, and Cagliari, Shomurodov has also started to prove himself for Istanbul Bashakshehir. He has already made 11 appearances in the UEFA Conference League qualifying tournament and championship matches. During this period, the Uzbek forward scored an important goal against "Beshiktosh," provided two assists to his teammates, and earned the trust of fans.
In the match against "Antalyaspor," he once again showed that he is an important player. Eldor scored when the score equalized, but the goal was disallowed due to VAR's offside. Despite this, the striker's actions were positively evaluated by experts.
According to reports, Roma loaned the Uzbek player for one season and received 3 million euros for this. If Bashakshehir pays another €2.7 million at the end of the season, the transfer will be fully completed. In this case, the total amount will reach 5.7 million euros.
Previously, during negotiations, the transfer fee was estimated at around 7-8 million euros, but later the Italians agreed to lower the demand. At the same time, if the deal is successful, Bashakshehir will be obligated to transfer 10% of Eldor's next transfer to Roma.
Notably, if Shomurodov's transfer is officially confirmed, he will become one of the most expensive players in the club's history. So far, the largest transfer belongs to Abbosbek Fayzullayev - €7.5 million was paid to CSKA for the 21-year-old, which is a record in the club's history.
