The Uzbekistan Children and Youth Hockey Championship has officially kicked off. The tournament began on September 26 at the Humo Arena ice rink with matches between teams in the 14U age category.
In the first match, Almaty's "Rakhimzhan" team faced Tashkent's "Binkor" club. The regular time ended with a score of 2:2. Yanis Kosofidi and Dmitry Sukhov scored for Rakhimzhan, while Turakhanov Azamkhon and Matvey Ilyasov equalized for Binkor. In extra time, Matvey Ilyasov scored again, securing a brace and bringing the victory to Binkor with a score of 3:2.
In the second match of the day, Almaty's "Alma-Ata" defeated Tashkent's "Humo Sky" with a score of 7:1. Yegor Voronin scored the only goal for Humo.
