Ro'ziqul Berdiyev: "Nasaf" lost, but gained a lot of experience

Following the match between Nasaf and Al-Hilol, part of the second round of the Elite Asian Champions League, a press conference was held with Qarshi club head coach Ro'ziqul Berdiyev.

Sharing his initial thoughts about the match, the coach noted that the opponent's level and experience were the decisive factor in the victory:

- First of all, good evening to everyone. Today, the level has spoken its word. We lost to a team stronger than us. But I would like to thank the guys for their hard work on the field. More specifically, in some cases, we had the opportunity to make changes. If we had Alibek Davronov and Murodbek Rahmatov in our ranks, perhaps our game would have been even stronger.

Journalists expressed their opinion that "Nasaf" is developing in various aspects, especially its performance in two matches, which is becoming a great school for the team. Berdiyev confirmed this and emphasized the need to draw the right conclusions for subsequent stages:

- Such debates are a great lesson for us. If we want to participate in the regular Asian Champions League, we must learn from these matches. We also need strong and qualified players. Javokhir Sidikov had to be forcibly substituted.

In response to the question about the foreign players, the coach drew attention to the fact that financial opportunities and the personal preferences of the players play a big role:

- There are no large funds in this direction. Every club faces financial difficulties. At the same time, the foreign players themselves choose which city and championship to play in. Some ask a lot of questions: where is the team, what conditions, which championship? Therefore, not everything can be solved by money alone.

Speaking about the upcoming matches, Ro'ziqul Berdiyev noted that there is no easy game in the Elite Champions League:

- Each argument is difficult in its own way. We played against two of Saudi Arabia's top three clubs, and there's still a match against Al-Ittihad. Despite the defeats, we are gaining experience. Later, we can easily compete with teams that are close to us in terms of level. I believe our chances will be much higher in matches against Iranian, UAE, and Iraqi clubs.

Thus, "Nasaf" has passed through the next major trials and is trying to learn important lessons from each match.
