In Baku, the Uzbekistan delegation won record medals

This day was the most productive for the Uzbek delegation at the III CIS Games in Azerbaijan: 10 gold, 6 silver, and 11 bronze medals were won in one day, significantly enriching the overall treasury. At a time when the pace of the competitions is increasing, our youth showed consistent results in various disciplines, demonstrating the practical results of team spirit and discipline.
The brightest block of the day was observed in boxing - convincing victories of our boxers in a number of weight categories were recorded. In judo, our compatriots also showed impressive results in the individual and heavyweight categories, returning from tatami with gold and silver medals. In fencing, the guys took first place in the team saber, putting a strong end to the dynamics of the round. Our freestyle wrestlers confidently defeated their opponents in individual competitions, and in karate and shooting, the best performances turned into bronze and silver.
