Madrid’s “Real” club is showing interest in Manchester City’s Norwegian super striker Erling Haaland. It has been reported that the Spanish giant intends to add him to the squad next season.
According to Caught Offside, the “royal club” has already started preliminary talks with Haaland’s representatives. The goal is to lay the groundwork for a transfer deal.
Reports say that “Real” plans to purchase the Norwegian star using the funds received from the sale of Brazilian forward Vinicius Junior. One of the clubs from Saudi Arabia is reportedly ready to offer about 250 million euros for Vinicius.
At present, Erling Haaland’s contract with Manchester City runs until the summer of 2034. The player’s market value is estimated at around 180 million euros.
If the negotiations end successfully, it is expected that “Real Madrid” will form an even stronger and more competitive team with the new striker.
