Sunderland defeats Chelsea and rises to second place in the Premier League
In matchday 9 of the English Premier League, Chelsea hosted Sunderland at home. Despite Chelsea's dominance, the team could not fully capitalize on their opportunities. This was reported by Euro-football.ru. 

In the 4th minute of the match, Pedro Neto took the ball in the center and quickly passed to Alejandro Garnacho. Garnacho broke into the penalty area and scored a precise shot between the goalkeeper's legs from a sharp angle.

In the 22nd minute, Sunderland took a long throw-in and after several ricochets in the opponent's penalty area, Bertrand Traore took a shot, but Wilson Isidor kicked the ball and sent it over the goalkeeper into the net, equalizing the score. At the end of the first half, Granit Xhaka sent a delicate pass into the penalty area, but Isidor's shot went wide of the goal.

Reece James crossed the ball from a corner, Mark Guiu continued the pass with his head, but Garnacho shot straight at the goalkeeper. The first half ended 1:1.

In the second half, there were almost no dangerous chances. In the 90+3rd minute, Sunderland player Brian Brobbey controlled the ball in the penalty area and sent it to Chemsdine Talbi.

Talbi scored a beautiful long-range shot into the far corner, bringing victory to his team. As a result, Sunderland climbed to second place with 17 points and pushed Manchester City down.

Chelsea remained in seventh place with 14 points.
