Mets achieved their first win of the season

Within the framework of the 10th round of the French championship, the "Metz" team hosted "Lens," a club aiming for the title, at home. Although "Metz" is one of the main outsiders in the league, the team continued to threaten the opponent's goal throughout the whole match.

"Lens" striker Odsonne Edouard could have opened the score during one of the first attacks, but the goalkeeper saved his team. Coffi Kouao struck accurately from a long distance, but the rebound from the goalkeeper went straight to Habib Diallo.

Unfortunately, he could not hit the target. Another shot by Kouao hit the post and bounced away.

In the second half, Diallo delivered a precise strike from outside the penalty area, but once again, the goalkeeper parried the ball. In the 87th minute, "Metz" opened the score with a penalty converted by Goteh En - 1:0.

Three minutes later, En scored another goal from open play, making the score 2:0. While celebrating the goal, he took off his jersey and received a second yellow card, after which he left the pitch.

Although this match was the first victory of the season for "Metz," the team still remains at the bottom of the league table. "Lens," meanwhile, continues in second place.
