Former Milan player and coach Roberto Donadoni has resumed his coaching career after a five-year break. Now, he will manage the "Spezia" club, which plays in Italy's Serie B.
The 62-year-old specialist has signed a short-term one-year contract. Donadoni previously continued his coaching career at clubs such as "Livorno," "Genoa," "Napoli," and China's "Shenzhen."
He also managed the Italian national team from 2006 to 2008 and led them to the quarterfinals of the 2008 European Championship. "Spezia" is currently considered one of the biggest underdog teams in Italy's second division.
So far, the team has collected only seven points and is ranked 19th in the league table.
