Uzbekistan will know its opponents in the 2026 World Cup within a month


According to the Uzbekistan Football Association press service, next month the draw ceremony for the 2026 FIFA World Cup will be held. This important event will take place at the Kennedy Center in Washington, USA.

As a result of the draw, the 48 national teams participating in the tournament will be divided into groups. For the first time in history, this World Cup will be hosted by three countries: the USA, Canada, and Mexico.

It is noteworthy that the Uzbekistan national team will take part in such a major international football tournament for the first time in history. Thus, after one month, Uzbekistan's opponents in the World Cup 2026 group stage will become known.

The tournament will run from June 11 to July 19.
