FIFA has announced the list of footballers nominated for the 2025 Puskás Award. This award is given to the scorer of the most beautiful goal of the year and is considered one of the most exciting categories of “The Best FIFA Football Awards”.
The list includes 11 players representing clubs from different countries. Among them are Alerrandro (Vitória – Cruzeiro), Deiola (Cagliari – Venezia), De La Vega (Cruz Azul – Seattle Sounders), Montiel (Independiente – Independiente Rivadavia), and Nasser (Al Ahly – Pharco).
Also competing for the title of the year’s most beautiful goal are Orrantia (Querétaro – Atlas), Ribeiro (Mamelodi Sundowns – Borussia Dortmund), Rice (Arsenal – Real Madrid), Ridho (Persija Jakarta – Arema), Rodrigues (Kasımpaşa – Rizespor), and Yamal (Espanyol – Barcelona).
Since 2009, the FIFA Puskás Award has been given to the scorer of the most spectacular goal. The winner is determined by votes from football fans and experts. Thus, this year, supporters once again have the chance to back their favorite player’s stunning strike.
