As part of the ongoing training camp at a Chinese hotel, the Uzbekistan U-23 national team played its next friendly match against Vietnamese youth. In the match held at the Chengdu Sichuan Stadium, Ravshan Haydarov's team proved their superiority.
As soon as the match began, our team took control of the ball and increased pressure. In the fourth minute, when the opponent had not yet fully adapted, Saidkhon Hamidov finished the quick attack with a goal. His beautiful shot from the center of the field, turning it into a goal, gave the game a great start.
Even after the goal, our national team did not lose the initiative. Yorqinboyev and Jumayev in the back line organized the game well, while Hayrullayev and Hamidov on the wing became the main accelerators of attacks. Confidence and stability were evident in the defenders, led by team captain Rejabaliyev.
Although several more chances were created in the first half, they didn't turn into goals. The second half also proceeded in a similar spirit - the team was confident in defense and active in attack. Tulkunbekov and Abdullayev organized several dangerous raids on the opponent's goal.
The coaching staff also gave opportunities to the substitutes in some parts of the match. In particular, Muratbayev, Anvarov, and Tukhsanov once again showed that the team has a deep squad.
The Vietnamese national team responded with some controversial attacks, but the coordinated actions of goalkeeper Rustamov and the defenders left all their attempts ineffective.
Thus, the Uzbekistan U-23 team confidently ended the friendly match with a score of 1:0. This victory became an important factor in strengthening the positive spirit, mutual understanding, and game discipline before major competitions.
