According to AS, after Didier Deschamps' departure, Zinedine Zidane is expected to be appointed as the new head coach of the French national team.

According to the source, the 53-year-old specialist has reached a preliminary agreement on taking over the national team. Therefore, Zidane also rejected offers from Real Madrid and Fenerbahçe.

It was reported that the 57-year-old Deschamps, who announced his departure from the French national team after the 2026 World Cup in January, is currently in negotiations with Saudi Arabian clubs for the next season.
