Van Dijk Comments on Fans Leaving Early

“Liverpool” suffered a 0–3 defeat against “Nottingham Forest” at their home ground. Some Merseyside fans left Anfield Stadium before the referee blew the final whistle.

Team captain Virgil van Dijk shared his thoughts on the situation. “I cannot change the fans' decision if they choose to leave the stadium early.

But I know that the fans who have been through so much with us will also stand by us when we get out of this difficult situation – and we undoubtedly will overcome it,” van Dijk said in an interview with the BBC. “Liverpool” will play its next match on Wednesday, November 26.
