The general director of the Istiqlol football club, Shakhzod Sulaymonov, expressed his dissatisfaction with Al-Nassr forward Cristiano Ronaldo's absence from the AFC Champions League match. "We were very disappointed that Ronaldo did not come to the match against Istiqlol in Tajikistan.
He does not travel for away games. We also did not see him in matches that were held in India and Iraq before," the general director told Sport24.
The match between Istiqlol and Al-Nassr will take place tomorrow, November 26, in Tajikistan. Portuguese footballer Cristiano Ronaldo has been playing for Saudi Arabian club Al-Nassr since January 2023.
The 40-year-old forward's contract is valid until mid-2027. His market value is estimated at 12 million euros.
