Barcelona to Extend Contract with Kluivert

Spanish club "Barcelona" has initiated negotiations on a new contract with winger Sheyne Kluivert. This was reported by renowned journalist Fabrizio Romano on his social media platforms.

According to sources, the 18-year-old talent, currently playing for "Barcelona B," has not yet made a final decision. His current contract is set to expire next summer.

The footballer joined the "Barcelona" academy in July 2017 as a free agent from the youth team of "PSG." This season, Sheyne has participated in 4 matches in the Segunda division and 5 matches in the UEFA Youth League, scoring one goal against "PSG."

His father, Patrick Kluivert, played for "Barcelona" from 1998 to 2004 and was one of the key players for the Netherlands national team.
