Head coach of the Bayer football club, Kasper Hjulmand, took part in a pre-match press conference ahead of the game against Borussia Dortmund. The Bundesliga Matchday 12 game is scheduled to kick off on November 29 at 8:30 PM Moscow time.
By the end of the calendar year, the team is set to play six matches in three different competitions over the span of 21 days. Responding to a question about squad rotation following their Champions League victory against Manchester City, Hjulmand stated: "The schedule is very tight, and we need all our players.
Therefore, we are happy that some players will return to the field with fresh energy on Saturday. We want to display our game again and take the next step towards improvement," said the head coach.
Edmond Tapsoba and Robert Andrich, who were unavailable for the match against Manchester City due to suspension, as well as Jonas Hofmann and Martin Terrier, who were not in the Champions League squad, have returned to the main lineup. However, aside from Exequiel Palacios and Santiago Fernández, who have been sidelined with long-term injuries, goalkeeper Janis Blaswich, Arthur, Lucas Vázquez, and Axel Tappe will also be unavailable.
"Lucas and Axel are feeling very good. They are training fully and will likely return to the squad next week."
Bayer is currently in second place with 23 points, while Borussia Dortmund follows closely with 22 points. Read “Zamin” on Telegram!
