Real Madrid May Dismiss Xabi Alonso


Real Madrid is reportedly considering the resignation of head coach Xabi Alonso following another winless match in La Liga. The team drew 1-1 against Girona, losing its top spot in the league standings to Barcelona.

According to Pep Alvares, club president Florentino Pérez has only one candidate in mind – Zinedine Zidane. However, this information has yet to be confirmed by official sources.

Xabi Alonso took over as head coach this summer, replacing Carlo Ancelotti. Real Madrid's next match is scheduled for December 3, against Athletic Bilbao away.
