Simeone Amazed by Raphinha: "How Has He Not Won the Ballon d'Or?"

Diego Simeone, head coach of Atlético Madrid, expressed his admiration for Barcelona winger Raphinha Dias's performance. The Brazilian player helped the "Blaugrana" secure a crucial 3-1 victory over Atlético and managed to score a goal in the match.

"Raphinha is an incredible player. He can play in any position: winger, midfielder, forward, or even as a wing-back.

He scores goals, creates opportunities, puts pressure on opponents, and moves a lot on the pitch. I don't understand how he hasn't won the Ballon d'Or," said Simeone, as quoted by Barca Universal.

It is worth noting that Raphinha was named the best player of the match between Barcelona and Atlético. The 28-year-old player ranked fifth in the voting for the 2025 Ballon d'Or.
