Alonso: We Wanted to Break the Draw Streak


The head coach of Real Madrid, Xabi Alonso, commented on his team's confident victory over Athletic in the 19th round of the Spanish Championship. "This was an important game for Real.

We wanted to break the streak of draws. We displayed good football, and perhaps this was our most versatile game.
