Sergey Yuran Supports Portugal for World Cup 2026


Former "Spartak" football player Sergey Yuran has announced his support for the Portugal national team during the 2026 FIFA World Cup. According to Yuran, his decision to back Portugal was clear, but he acknowledged that the road to victory for the team would not be an easy one.

"Whom will I support? Of course, Portugal.

Can Ronaldo secure the trophy? It will be very difficult because there are other strong national teams as well," Yuran stated in an interview with "Match TV."

Under the leadership of head coach Roberto Martínez, the Portugal national team will compete in Group K. Their opponents in the group will include Colombia, Uzbekistan, and the playoff winner, which could be the Democratic Republic of Congo, Jamaica, or New Caledonia.
