Axel Disasi may return to France

“Chelsea” central defender Axel Disasi has reportedly attracted interest from the French club Olympique Lyon. This was reported by journalist Nicolo Schira.

According to sources, Lyon is showing interest in the 27-year-old French footballer. Disasi has expressed readiness to leave London, as he has been sidelined from “The Blues’” main squad.

He is planning to leave the team during the upcoming transfer window. Disasi joined Chelsea in 2023.

So far, he has made 61 appearances for the team, scoring 5 goals and providing 2 assists. However, the defender has not played in Chelsea's starting lineup at all this season.

The player’s contract with the club is valid until 2029. According to Transfermarkt, his transfer value is estimated at €15 million.
