Arteta Opposes Selling Gabriel Jesus

Mikel Arteta, the head coach of London’s Arsenal FC, has stated that he is against the idea of selling forward Gabriel Jesus. Arteta disclosed this in an interview published on Arsenal’s official website: "I am not considering such an option, especially given the current circumstances.

I believe Gabriel can contribute significantly to the team, and he has proven that from the very first moments he returned to the field. He has worked tremendously hard to regain this position, and now the most important thing is that he is with us." It should be noted that Jesus spent nearly all of 2025 recovering from an injury.

He sustained a knee ligament injury last winter and only returned to action in December. The Brazilian forward joined Arsenal from Manchester City in the summer of 2022 and has played for the North London club for several years since then.
