Rodrigo speaks about Real Madrid captain's armband

Rodrygo, winger for Real Madrid, wore the captain's armband during a Copa del Rey match against Talavera. The match took place on Wednesday and concluded with a 3–2 victory for the "Royal Club."

The 24-year-old Brazilian footballer came on as a substitute in the 66th minute, taking over the captaincy responsibilities. Journalist Fabrizio Romano quoted Rodrygo saying: "Playing in this jersey continues to make my dreams come true.

Tonight, wearing the Real Madrid captain's armband was an honor for me." Real Madrid’s next match will be played at home on Saturday in La Liga’s Matchday 18 against Sevilla.

The team is currently coached by Xabi Alonso. Rodrygo has been part of Real Madrid since 2019.
