Kassiano Kiala becomes second youngest debutant in Bayern Munich's history

Bayern Munich defender Kassiano Kiala made his debut appearance for the club's first team. The 16-year-old footballer came on as a substitute during the closing stages of the Bundesliga match against Heidenheim.

The game concluded with Bayern achieving a 4-0 victory. According to Bayern & Germany, Kiala became the second youngest player to make a Bundesliga debut for Bayern Munich at the age of 16 years and 344 days.

The record in this category belongs to Paul Wanner, who debuted at the age of 16 years and 15 days. Kassiano Kiala was born on January 11, 2009.

The German footballer, who has Angolan roots, joined Bayern Munich's academy last summer from Hertha Berlin. The promising central defender has an active contract with Germany's most decorated club until mid-2027.
