Barcelona has contacted Hans-Dieter Flick, asking whether he is ready to extend his contract for another year, until the end of the 2027/2028 season. Initially, Flick had planned to fully serve his current contract and retire in the summer of 2027.
However, Barcelona has become more open to the idea of extending Flick's employment contract than before. The German specialist is reportedly very satisfied with the club's sports project, especially its academy.
At the same time, Flick is in no rush. He believes it is still too early to resolve the matter of extending the contract now, according to reports from COPE.
