Martínez Reveals Cristiano Ronaldo's Pursuit of 1,000 Goals


Cristiano Ronaldo aims to become the first footballer in history to score 1,000 goals in his career. On this topic, Portugal national team head coach Roberto Martinez shared his opinion.

The coach emphasized that Ronaldo does not chase records but, instead, lives in the present. "Ronaldo has achieved so much because he focuses on living today.

When he talks about his goals, he avoids thinking in the long term: 1,000 goals, a certain number of matches... His secret is to be the best version of himself today and to enjoy every single day," Martinez was quoted as saying by Marca. Cristiano Ronaldo has scored 954 goals throughout his career.
