Arteta praises Rice’s performance in an unusual role

Arsenal head coach Mikel Arteta commented on Declan Rice’s display after the 2–1 win over Brighton. This was reported by euro-football.rureports.

Arteta said that when he told Rice he needed to play at right-back, he immediately accepted the challenge and promised to give everything. The coach stressed that the player’s attitude and fighting spirit impressed him, calling Rice “a special player.”
