Former Germany midfielder Toni Kroos, who has vast experience in world football, shared his thoughts ahead of the 2026 World Cup. According to him, several teams stand out as the main contenders to win the next tournament.
Kroos named Spain, Portugal, France and Morocco as the strongest favorites for the upcoming championship. He noted that in recent years these teams have stood out for their consistent performances, strong squads and international experience.
At the same time, the former star did not hide his opinion about the Germany national team either. In his words, it is still difficult to see the Germans among the main contenders for the title.
