Real Madrid legend Raul spoke about the importance of 18-year-old talented winger Lamine Yamal for the Spain national team and expectations ahead of the 2026 World Cup. This was reported by euro-football.rureports.
According to Raul, Yamal will become an important player for the national team, but it is still too early to call him the team’s main leader. He noted that Lamine is going through an adaptation process and still has aspects he needs to work on. Nevertheless, Raul said he believes Yamal will perform well at the World Cup and help the team in the fight for the trophy.
As a reminder, the next World Cup will be held next summer in North America. The tournament will be hosted by three countries—the United States, Canada, and Mexico. The reigning champion is the Argentina national team.
