Edinson Cavani announces retirement from football

Veteran striker Edinson Cavani, who played for PSG, Manchester United and the Uruguay national team, has decided to end his playing career. The 38-year-old forward announced this on his social media pages. This was reported by euro-football.rureports.

“I’m leaving with a sense of satisfaction. In every training session and every match, I gave everything I had. Football has given me so much. In my career there were mistakes as well as the right decisions,” Cavani wrote.

According to reports, over his professional career Cavani made 745 appearances, scored 404 goals and provided 79 assists.
