Barcelona goalkeeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen is being mentioned as one of the main names on Girona’s transfer list. This was reported by euro-football.ru.reports.
According to sources, the “white-and-reds” are considered the most serious contender for the German keeper. The reason is that head coach Hans-Dieter Flick reportedly does not see him in the team’s starting lineup. Against this backdrop, journalists asked Girona coach Michel about the possibility of signing the “blaugrana” captain in the winter.
“Ter Stegen is a very high-level player. Every team would like to have him,” said the coach of the Catalan club, which is fighting to keep its place in La Liga.
Earlier it was reported that Girona are ready to sign the 33-year-old goalkeeper on loan, but for that Barcelona would need to continue paying most of the player’s salary.
