Girona split over Ter Stegen move

The possibility of Barcelona goalkeeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen moving to Girona is still on the table. This is reported by euro-football.rureports.

The “White-and-Reds” are considering a loan deal for the German keeper until the end of the season. However, according to Sport, head coach Michel does not want the club’s main funds to be spent on Barca’s star goalkeeper. While he rates ter Stegen as a top-level shot-stopper, he is currently prioritizing strengthening the defensive line and midfield.

Sporting director Quique Carcel sees it differently: he is very keen to see ter Stegen at Girona and, if the player agrees, intends to use every opportunity to make the transfer happen.
